City & Country Raising Buck$ Ambassador Georgie Curr

In August we had the pleasure of being the beneficiary of the City and Country Raising Bucks for Spinal Cord Injuries event hosted by Marcus, Shelley and Georgia Curr at the Ekka Showgrounds in Brisbane. Over 600 generous guests came together to raise over $358,000 in pursuit of a cure for paralysis and enjoyed some sensational bull riding! To add to this Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk MP announced a $2 million grant from Queensland Health to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation in support of our ground-breaking Cell Transplantation and Rehabilitation Human Clinical Trial being led by Professor James St John at the Clem Jones Centre for Neurobiology and Stem Cell Research at Griffith University.
