Hiya! Perhaps not your typical Thanksgiving faux pumpkin pie diys, however, I think they'll do nicely on my tiered tray! As you may know, I love that midcentury/atomic look, especially the kitschy decor. As it happens, it's gaining in popularity! I've been seeing repros of the kitschy, fun, 5&10 decor all over the place! While, I think some of these items being sold at the big box stores are sweet, nothing can beat an original, but a hand made piece of your very own is pretty, darn close! The best thing about making your own is that you can tailor it to suit your color preference and scale it to fit your needs. All of these retro/vintage items remind me of my childhood, which is so heartwarming. I thought that the fascination with these items were exclusive to Gen Xers, like myself, but clearly that is not the case! Everybody is digging it, these days!
