Nurses at the Forefront: Essential Clinicians in Hospital at Home Programs Webinar

In many Hospital at Home programs, nurses assume key responsibilities in delivering high-quality, coordinated, and personalized care within patients’ homes. From recruitment to monitoring to discharge, nursing teams are integral to every step of the HaH journey and critical to patient safety and well-being. HaH programs, in turn, must understand how to best support, develop and leverage this critical group of healthcare professionals. In this webinar, speakers address the Hospital at Home model’s unique blend of nursing skill sets, the breadth of nursing roles, and current nursing workforce issues that affect HaH. They also explore the challenges and opportunities presented by HaH and CMS nursing policies and regulations. The Hospital at Home Users Group, in partnership with the American Academy of Home Care Medicine, is pleased to present this webinar for hospital and system leaders interested in learning about the opportunities and challenges associated with providing acute care in the home.
