3 Ways that I Create Waveguide Port in CST

In this video, I show you how I create a waveguide port in the CST microwave studio software. In method 1, you should use a formula for calculating a waveguide port for your RF circuits. In method 2, you can use a standard waveguide sample or any other waveguide that you want to use in your practical microwave applications. In method 3, we use the CST formula for creating a waveguide port. And it is effected by the thickness of your substrate and width of your strip line or microstrip line. I hope this video helps you to choose the right design for exciting your RF components and helps you to solve your error that you get in CST due to the operating frequency range. Because the size of the waveguide port could define a frequency range that you can excite and select the frequency range in CST Software.
