Top 5 NEW Pistols Revealed At Shot Show 2023 0:17 Canik Mete MC9 2:31 Smith and Wesson M&P 5.7 4:05 Rock Island Armory 5.0 5:42 Beretta 80x Cheetah 7:02 FN 510 Tactical So, today we'll be looking at some of the most exciting pistols released at shot show 2023. Stay tuned to check out our top 5 picks. Let's get into it! Rock Island Armory 5.0: We have seen some exceptionally innovative pistols at shot shows this year, however, the Rock Island Armory 5.0 is easily the most impressive. This competition-oriented pistol uses a truly new operating system, patented by Rock Island Armory. Instead of the traditional tilting barrel or straight blowback design, this pistol uses the RVS or Ram Valve System with a fixed barrel. The fixed barrel significantly improves accuracy, whereas the locking breach Ram Valve System results in lower recoil. This pistol also has a very low bore axis, which combined with low recoil, results in a very smooth shooting and accurate pistol. This pistol also uses an internal riding slide, like the CZ 75, which results in a low bore axis, and better control. The RIA 5.0 has a steel slide, with an Aluminium frame and polymer grip. The grip has aggressive texturing for better control and a very ergonomic profile. The RIA 5.0 is chambered in 9mm and has a capacity of 17 +1 rounds. As far as the sights are concerned, it comes with a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable back sight. The RIA 5.0 comes with a Picatinny rail under the barrel for mounting accessories. Though the RIA 5.0 may look like a striker-fired gun, it actually has a small internal hammer, which results in a crisp trigger pull. The trigger on this pistol is good, with very little takeup, followed by some resistance, then a clean break. The trigger doesn't have the shortest reset, but it is still very good. Overall, the RIA 5.0 is a really innovative, and smooth shooting full-sized pistol, that is perfect for home defense, and works as a great competition shooter as well. Beretta 80x Cheetah: Beretta is a company known for making some of the most reliable pistols on the market. Their Beretta 84 series of pistols was a massive hit back in the day and was easily the best concealed carry pistol available on the market chambered in .380 ACP. Well, this year, Beretta bought the classic pistol back, with a lot of improvements, and new features that make it the best .380 ACP concealed carry pistol ever made. The pistol has an open slide design similar to most Beretta pistols, and a metal frame. In terms of size, it is very similar to the Beretta 84 series pistols, which are about the same size as a Glock 26. However, the 80x is lighter, making it more suitable for concealed carry. Moreover, the Beretta 80 x gives you an excellent magazine capacity of 13+1 rounds, which is a lot of firepower in a small package. As far as ergonomics are concerned, the 80x uses the slimmer Vertec style grip. It is also ambidextrous and has a much smoother recoil impulse. The Beretta 80x also comes optics-ready, however, the system will work with optic plates like most Beretta pistols. This pistol has a significantly improved double-action/single-action trigger, which makes it very fun to shoot. Overall, the Beretta 80x Cheetah is one of the few concealed carry pistols that are very comfortable to carry, fun to shoot at the range, and extremely effective for self-defense. FN 510 Tactical: • FN Finally Makes a 10mm Pistol: The F... When it comes to tactical self-defense pistols, the FN 509 has long been one of the best options on the market. This year, FN has added two more pistols to their 500 series, with the FN 510 chambered in 10mm, and the FN 545 chambered in 45 ACP. The 100 FN 510 is definitely the more popular model right now. For the past few years, many manufacturers have introduced pistols chambered in 10mm, and I believe the FN 510 Tactical beats them all. 10 mm pistols can be difficult to control because of the large recoil impulse, however, with the impressive ergonomics of the FN 500 series, and an enhanced fire control grip, the 510 tactical makes it considerably more manageable. The FN 510 tactical comes with a 15-round flush-fitting magazine. As far as construction and ergonomics are concerned, they are very similar to the FN 509. The grip on the 510 is a little thicker because of the larger caliber, other than that the backstraps, cocking serrations, and grip texturing are the same. Like the 509, the trigger on the 510 tactical is also very good. It is designed to have a clean break, with a short reset. The pull weight on the trigger is about 6 pounds, and it makes for a really comfortable shooting firearm, especially considering it is chambered in 10 mm.
