The first half of “Attack on Titan: The Final Season” delivered an impressive development over the previous seasons from many aspects. Apart from the studio change, the tone and emotional weight of the story are very different, leading to more complex characters, mature themes and incredible action scenes. The music, composed by Sawano and Yamamoto, have a different take compared to the previous seasons, and despite not being as iconic, it's quite immersive and still managed to captivate me along the story. The anime is full of moments of tension, shocking reveals, betrayals and game-changing events. For most of these moments, Kohta Yamamoto composed a few tracks that are very distinctive for their captivating sound, beats and effective musical build-up, especially “Zeke's Plan” and “Cold Light”. I couldn't find a proper name for this montage, I just wanted to mash-up these tracks which I think works great together. Enjoy it!
