Overlanding to India Episode 22: Riding Pakistan We continue our voyage through Pakistan. After last days worries we now quickly passed the critical area of the Karakorum Highway and entered the pass towards the Babusar top, at a height of 4.200m above sea level. There was a lot of snow fun. After spending the night in Balakot we chose a route through the Pakistani part of Kasjmir and Jammu. Via the town of Muzaffarabad we rode south, as a direct route towards Srinagar was not possible due to geopolitical reasons. Then we encountered some terrential rainshowers. Upon leaving the mountain area towards Islamabad it got dry again. We made a stop in Gujar Khan to finally reach Gujranwala. What really strikes us is how friendly, helpfull and interested the Pakistani people are. On the streets however you only see men, almost no women. Music : The Butterfly.
