Snívať o tom, priblížiť sa svojím idolom, hrdinom je v histórii často opakujúci sa jav. Taký Alexander spával s Illiadou pod vankúšom a sníval o tom, byť ako Achilles. A taký Ďurifuk zase sníva o tom, byť svojím spôsobom ako Alexander. Falanga, ľahkoodenci a kavaléria sú však u Ďurifuka cepíny, lyže a paraglide. Túži dobýjať Áziu svojsky, na poli športovom. Pred 7 rokmi sme s Mišom začali projekt Seven Virgin Summits a vyliezli a zleteli v 2017 vrchol v Antarktíde, v 2019 vrchol v Severnej Amerike. No naše cesty sa rozišli, ale túžba pokonať sa s rozrobeným cieľom zostala. Pochopil som, že na to musím ísť inak. Naučil som sa sólovať od Tatier, cez Alpy až po....Himaláje. Učil som sa od iných a skúšal. Raz v Indii, dva krát v Nepále, raz v Pakistane. Vždy ma hory nejak porazili... Ale nič nie je nemožné, pre toho kto skúša! Ako dopadol pokus tentokrát? Such Alexander slept with the Illiad under his pillow and dreamed of being like Achilles. And such a Ďurifuk dreams of being like Alexander in a way. He wants to conquer Asia in his own way, on the sports field. 7 years ago, Mišo and I started the Seven Virgin Summits project and climbed and flew the summit in Antarctica in 2017 and the summit in North America in 2019. Well, our paths diverged, but the desire to conquer the goal remained. I understood that I had to have different strategy. I learned to climb solo from the Tatras, through the Alps to....the Himalayas. I learned from others and tried. Once in India, twice in Nepal, once in Pakistan. The mountains have always defeated me somehow...but nothing is impossible for those, who try! And how ends trying this time?
