I believe every part of it fullheartedly. I don't think a soulmate has to be romantic at all, however, in Spirk's case, it is. It's from Dawson's Creek 6x24, if I am not mistaken. The truth is, whether you ship Spirk or not, that Spock and Kirk do know each other better than anyone else in, not just the world, but the entire universe. They do inspire each other to be better people, equally and in different ways. Their friendship reaches past alternate universes and black holes. Spock accepts Jim for his flaws, as does Jim to Spock, and they believe the other can overcome them.
