Just a Closer Walk with Thee at Schoenmakershuisje EVERLITE FOR HAWAIIANS Band

In the Netherlands, National Monument Day was celebrated on September 15th. For the 2nd time this year, the EVERLITE FOR HAWAIIANS Band was invited to the Westland, in the city of S'Gravenzande. In a monumental building from 1639, Nora and I were asked to perform with our EverLite For Hawaiians Band. We feel so blessed that we were invited by Frank van Veen, the organizer of the National Monument Day. Furthermore, Daniel Sieczkowski, a great accordion player, and Howlin' Peat, a rock & blues band, performed in the SCHOENMAKERSHUISJE. Upon arrival at 10 am, Nora and I were warmly welcomed in the Schoenmakershuisje by the alderman of culture of the municipality of Westland, Mrs. Carlieke van Staalduinen, and the party committee. We were able to install our PA system and then start our performance at 11 am. Here is an impression of our music with the song Just A Closer Walk With Thee
