Secluded: Homestead Life In A Mountain Wilderness (EP6)

I arrive back to my remote property in late spring to find that the river is already much lower than expected and that I am unable to reach my property by river. The type of boat I have is not suited for shallow, fast flowing rivers. Fortunately I have a road easement access via land. The downside, is that I will have to clear about 5 kilometers of deadfall and heavy growth through a very grown in road. This will be my pathway and only land access. Persaverance and grit pays off. A friend lends me his jet drive boat midway through summer which is a huge help! Now with access to the secluded property by both water and by land, I can finally get to work with building up a place to live on a more full time basis. Glad you can join me for this rugged journey.
