KMTV 3 Omaha - Touching Point and Sign-Off (2-17-1978)

Omaha's then NBC affiliate (currently with CBS) signs off this broadcast day with promos, The New USO PSA, and their usual Touching Point segment they aired every night before sign-off, which they used from the 1970s to about mid-'80s. Usually with a biblical passage or sage advice as spoken by this gentleman whom I haven't got his name as they never reference it on their segments. Awsome how they used Harry Chapin's "Cats in the Cradle" along with the slide show. Followed by Bill Martin voicing the sign-off along with the vintage station ID slide. This particular ID slide was used from 1977-80. Capping it off before cutting the juice is a filmed performance of The University of Nebraska Marching Band performing the "Star Spangled Banner". BTW, the address shown at the end of the Touching Point segment was to the former Central Church of the Nazarene, which closed in 2014, and is now the Nebraska Chinese Center.
