Photoszene 2021 IN MY ROOM - eine Generation im Lockdown Monatelanger Lockdown, Schule digital, kein Rumhängen mit Freunden, Kontakt auf Distanz: Wie haben sich Kinder und Jugendliche in ihren Räumen eingerichtet? Und in ihren Seelen? Das international renommierte Kölner Künstlerpaar Feli & Pepita hat den Gemütszustand der Jugend mit der Kameraeingefangen. Junge Menschen in Europa und Asien haben ihnen die Türen zu ihren Zimmern geöffnet und sich interviewen lassen. Womit beschäftigen sie sich? Was beschäftigt sie? Aus diesen Begegnungen sind sehr persönliche Porträts entstanden. Sie zeigen, wie die Jugend den Ausnahmezustand erlebt. Fotos und Videos sind in der Ausstellung "In My Room" in der Kölner Kunstkirche Ost im Rahmen der Internationalen Photoszene Köln zu sehen (zurzeit noch digital). Begleitend erscheint das Buch "In My Room - A Portrait Of A Generation In Lockdown" IN MY ROOM - a generation in lockdown Months of lockdown, digital school, no hanging out with friends, contact at a distance: how have children and young people settled into their rooms? And in their souls? The internationally renowned Cologne-based artist duo Feli & Pepita have captured the state of mind of young people on camera. Young people in Europe and Asia opened the doors to their rooms and allowed themselves to be interviewed. What are they preoccupied with? What is on their minds? These encounters have resulted in very personal portraits. They show how young people experience the state of emergency. Photos and videos can be seen in the exhibition “In My Room” at the Kunstkirche Ost in Cologne as part of the International Photoscene Cologne (currently still digital).
