1 in 10 children in Australia still miss out on quality early learning. The children that stand to benefit the most, are most likely to miss out.  Today we launch our More than Money campaign in Canberra’s Parliament House to call out the access issues created by non-financial barriers for families already experiencing disadvantage. These include families where there is: -domestic violence a child with a disability -Aboriginal and Torres Strait children a child whose caregiver is a grandparent or unrelated carer a child from a non-English speaking background, and more Uniting’s Links to Early Learning program is a proven solution to addressing and overcoming non-financial barriers to early learning.   We believe that increasing the implementation of and funding for this and similar navigation programs will ensure that no child gets left behind. Education is a human right and quality early learning provides the crucial building blocks needed for lifelong learning and a positive start to school.
