A Road Trip Visit to Dresden & Bastei Bridge in Saxony Germany!

Rooooaaaad Triiiiip! We headed up north to Dresden & Bastei Bridge in Saxony Germany. Dresden swept us away as we met with a local and started our walk across the Augustus Bridge. The city is gorgeous and full of amazing architecture. We stayed right in the Dresden altstadt (old city) at Steigenberger Hotel. Our first stop was CityBeach, where we had lunch, drinks, and watched the sunset over the river. Our next day in Dresden took us to the Grand Garden of Dresden where we ate and drank at two different Bier Gardens under the shade. I found the best views of the city walking up the Frauenkirche Dresden, and then we headed an hour outside the city to catch the sunset over Bastei Bridge. The drive was easy and the bridge didn't disappoint! Bastei Bridge is amazing, I highly recommend going before sunset.
