For 35 years, LE lied about not knowing how John and Dana got home to 28. They even falsely claimed they believed whoever picked them up hitch-hiking may have been their killer(s) when, in fact, they knew who did it, that it was a broad conspiracy, and that Sue was the sole target. I determined that a key witness, Kathy Beckley, was lying when she told PCSO why she refused to give them a ride home. PCSO even lied in reports as to where she lived. When I found out where she really lived, it all fell into place. Mike Gamberg looked into it, and the truth came out in 2016. J&D hadn't planned on spending the night at 28 until long intoSaturday afternoon. The first to hear of it were the Dorisses, when Dana asked them for permission shortly before 6pm. This shows many of the key coonspirators were lying, and lying very stupidly. The Meeks, Sheila, ANYONE who claims they knew J&D were going to be at 28 are LIARS and MURDERERS. In reality, the Dorisses granted permission for the sleepover on the condition they didn't hitch home. So Dana told them he'd get a ride from Kathy. Kathy, on the other hand, didn't want to be seen with Dana because she was having a fling with him- statutory rape every time. So she refused to give them a ride. In turn, they couldn't catch a hitch from Exxon, so out of frustration they kept going back to Kathy's, eventually wearing her down. She finally caved, and called a friend to give them a ride. This vid explains why the boys were intermittently seen at Exxon, seen at Van Gas, and seen at the Chevron across the street- the wrong place to be hitching if you were trying to catch a ride north.
