2024 Nio Onvo L60 in-depth Walkaround The Onvo L60 is positioned as a true rival to the Tesla Model Y, featuring a similar body style but offering more space in the back. Released information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) shows that the initial release will come with a 60.6 kWh battery pack, providing a range of 555 km for the single-motor version and 501 km for the dual-motor setup, based on CLTC figures. These numbers are lower than the anticipated 90 kWh battery option, which was expected to offer a range of around 730 km. Despite the smaller battery, the L60 excels in energy efficiency, consuming just 12.1 kWh per 100 km, thanks to its aerodynamic design with a drag coefficient of Cd 0.229—better than the Tesla Model Y's 0.236. Aerodynamic wheels and hidden door handles, designed by former Bentley designer Raul Pires, enhance the car's efficiency and sleek appearance. Inside, the L60 adopts a minimalist design similar to the Tesla Model Y, with a single central screen for all controls. The vehicle measures 4,828 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,616 mm in height, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. In single-motor versions, it will be powered by a 240 kW rear motor, while all-wheel-drive models add a 100 kW motor to the front. Production will take place at Nio's F2 plant in Hefei.
