International Fashion Designer Don O'Neill visits McElligotts in Tralee

International fashion designer, Don O’Neill is back home from New York - and he paid a visit to McElligotts Tralee during the week for an official photocall to announce him as judge of the forthcoming McElligotts Kia Ladies Day at the Listowel Harvest Racing Festival on Friday 22nd of September. (Photo credit: George Doyle) Don O’Neill, who has dressed such celebrities as Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey, will be judging the McElligotts Kia Best Dressed Lady along with businesswoman and model Elvira Fernandez Zebo. Thanks to sponsors McElligotts Tralee and Kia Ireland, the overall winner of the Best Dressed Lady will be jetting off to the Big Apple and staying in the fabulous Fitzpatrick Hotel in Manhattan. In addition to the winner’s prize of a Trip for Two to New York, there are also generous cash prizes of €1,000 for the Most Creative Headpiece and €500 for the Most Contemporary Outfit. The 165th Listowel Harvest Racing Festival is on from Sunday 17th to Saturday 23rd of September. This year Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are all National Hunt meetings and Tuesday & Thursday feature an all-flat race card. Off course, there is something for everyone of all ages including six fashion competitions with dedicated days for Ladies, Men, Couples, Sustainable Style, Blue Jeans and Young Racers; exceptional free children’s entertainment with a petting farm; top live music acts including Superfly and DJ Marty Guilfoyle and some very special celebrity guests!
