Mukundi, who becomes a Postman now, reads out an emotional letter in front of all the Villagers. All the villagers are surprised to see Mukundi's father Sugandhilal. Sugandhilal explains the importance of rain in an individual's life to all the villagers and his grandson Chukundi. Lallanji awaits someone's arrival in Lapataganj. Who will show up at Lapataganj? About Lapataganj: ---------------------------------- Satire is an important and inherent part of Indian humor. Lapataganj season 1 was a very successful attempt at capturing this and bringing satire to the Indian television screens. Lapataganj season 2 aims at carrying forward this legacy and once again meaningfully entertaining the audiences. The satire in this show is aimed at us, at our society at our politics and our leaders through a fictionalized village called Lapataganj where the common man of India struggles every day and yet manages to keep a smile on his face. The show will yet again portray the everyday ailments in the life of the common man – in a very common setup of a typical fictionalized Indian village- Lapataganj.
