HOW TO SETUP Airless Paint Sprayer 👍

In this video you will learn how to setup an airless paint sprayer. If you are just learning how to use an airless paint sprayer, the first thing you need to learn is how to setup airless paint sprayer. Spray painting with spray gun requires the hose to be primed with paint. If your airless sprayer won't prime, you won't be able to spray paint. We primarily use our Graco paint sprayer for exterior painting. Another options is to use a Titan airless paint sprayer. If you are using a Titan airless sprayer, the process is still the same to setup airless paint sprayer. First step, place the suction tube into the paint. Always make sure that the paint strainer is submersed below the paint so that no air will get into the line. Next, turn the paint sprayer on and make sure that your pressure is set low. Then place your turn your drain hose into an empty bucket and flipped the drain valve down. For first time use you will be draining air from your line until the paint comes out. For additional uses, you will be draining water from the line if you previously used latex paint or mineral spirits after using alkyd paint. Now that the drain tube is primed you can prime the hose and spray gun. Slowly pull the trigger on the spray gun into a buck until the pressure is released and then squeeze trigger all the way to drain the air, water or mineral spirits from the line until the paint comes out. Once everything is primed, now you can turn up your pressure, put your spray tip into the gun and begin spraying!
