AMD's Disgrace: China-Only RX '580' 2048 Review

We got our hands on the China-only release of AMD's RX 580 2048, which is an RX 570 with a misleading name and slight overclock. Ad: Buy Gigabyte's Z390 Master motherboard (http://geni.us/VGdZP on Newegg) Article: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews... The AMD RX 580 2048 SP is, as one would very likely guess, an RX 580 with 2048 FPUs (or stream processors, if you prefer). The RX 580 2048 SP is almost literally an RX 570, except its core clock is marginally overclocked from baseline. Overclocking an RX 570 would achieve the same gains as the RX 580 2048's stock performance. This is, ultimately, highly misleading of a product name. It's not an RX 580. It is an RX 570. AMD calls it an RX 580 ("2048"), though, which is just straight lying about what the product is in reality. Buy a real RX 580 8GB card on Newegg: http://geni.us/Kzm1JPN or buy a Gigabyte RX 570 4GB on Amazon: http://geni.us/dSMVnZI RX 570 4GB cards are a bit cheaper on Newegg: http://geni.us/QTsnJAX We have a new GN store: https://store.gamersnexus.net/ Like our content?
