After some rain front, I went out and fished the Des Plaines River here in Illinois in search of some Smallmouth and Largemouth bass. Although the water levels were high, I took the Native Watercraft Slayer Max 10 out for an awesome fishing trip. The goal was to use the Geecrack Bellows Craw, paired with a Dirty Jigs flipping jig. The combination proved to be successful as we caught 12-14 bass, and many were over 2 pounds. This is a taste of what fall fishing is all about, and I can't wait to get out next week for a other fishing adventure.
