To make this gun muzzle flash effect, we used a nerf gun with a dummy ammo belt attached to it. Watch the tutorial to learn how to composite together the muzzle fire effects, along with relighting your actors and adding in 3d bullet shells in blender, as well as bullet hits and blood spray in After Effects.
