Reminiscing on one of the most unforgettable moments of my life, when I had the honor of performing a solo sitar recital at the first-ever Diwali celebration hosted at the White House in 2022 by President Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, and Vice President Kamala Harris. It was an incredible privilege not only to be part of such a historic event but also to represent the rich heritage and cultural traditions of my Indian community on such a grand stage. 🇮🇳 This was the first time a solo sitar performance took place at the White House, and I am so humbled to have had the opportunity to share the soothing and transformative power of music through my Sitar for Mental Health initiative in front of such esteemed leaders.
