Follow along as I go forwards and backwards in moto 1 of the Open A class. I was able to get up with the leaders early but made a mistake on lap 1. I also struggle with Carpel Tunnel and lose feelings in my hands about 10 minutes in. It was fun but frustrating trying to race without dexterity and lack of lever feel. Put in a last lap charge and caught the leader with 2nd place. Paul Sanfelice and Carl Brucher finished 1 second in front of me in 3rd place. Thanks to the Quinn family for getting the RM dialed with the Keihin carb off of their KX250. It cleared up my low RPM sputter problem and I couldn’t have been happier. I ended up leading 2 laps of moto 2 but got a flat half way through lap 2. I was unable to finish the race but am excited to get back in 2 weeks and rip this 03 again!
