Indian Epigraphy: Fallacies and Biases | Vedveer Arya |

Indian inscriptions are the most authentic source of information about the chronology & genealogy of various dynasties, places and historical events etc. Unfortunately, the Epigraphists of the colonial era promoted the methodology of research based on selective acceptance and selective rejection which had not only created numerous fallacies in Indian historical narrative but also nurtured biases about the authenticity of Indic epigraphic sources. The latest epigraphical research based on the traditional chronology firmly establishes the authenticity of all Indian inscriptions. About the Speaker: Vedveer Arya is a historian, author, Sanskrit scholar and a researcher in the chronological history of India. He made in-depth study of various epigraphs in original and critiqued the chronology of India put forth by colonial historians and their followers. He is also a civil servant and a senior officer from the Ministry of Defence. 1.11 - Undeciphered Inscriptions in Indian Epigraphy 3.48 - Largest inscriptions found in India 5.07 - Total inscriptions found in India till date 8.09 - Composition of Indian Epigraphy 13.02 - Paleography 15.45 - The Chronological Problem of Indian history 21.30 - The Biases plaguing Indian Epigraphical studies 27.40 - Chronological History of the Indic languages 33.39 - True paleography studies 38.42 - Brahmi Vs Tamil Brahmi 43.32 - Epigraphic Evidence of the existence of Two Saka Eras and two Vikrama eras 45.15 - Saka Era (583 BC) Vs Sakanta Era (78 CE) 50.03 - The so-called 'Forged' Inscriptions of the Chalukyas 55.33 - The Ganga dynasty of Talakkad and Vijayanagara inscriptions 58.25 - Copper plates of Kudali Math (1151 CE) 1.0010 - Firishta mentions Vijayanagara empire's correct reign period 1.03.38 - Q& A session Subscribe to our YouTube channels: YouTube English:    / sangamtalks   YouTube Hindi:    / sangamhindi   Follow Sangam Talk on social media : Telegram : https://t.me/sangamtalks Twitter:   / sangamtalks   Facebook:   / sangamtalks   Instagram:   / sangamtalks   Website: http://www.sangamtalks.org Donate: http://www.sangamtalks.org/donate
