How to Retouch Freckled Face With these Simple Steps

Retouching models or subjects is not very complicated 1. Increasing the textures of the image makes the freckles on the face look very bold and real. It is one of the easiest and fastest methods to enhance the face freckles 2. As I did in the video, I increased the highlight of the image in Camera Raw, that is to make the Freckles more visible or bold. Taking the highlight down can also bring out the freckles, but it depends on the image you are working on. 3. I used a small sized Heal tool brush to take out the imperfections like the hair strands and blemishes on the face. Using the Heal tool brush or the clone stamp tool is the best way to remove blemishes without affecting or disrupting the textures or freckles. 4. I used a high Gaussian radius in the Frequency Separation setting to not affect the textures and the freckles as I painted on the image. Using a low Gaussian blur radius can be very dangerous especially when you are trying to preserve textures or freckles.
