Welcome to the Ross Park Mall located in Pittsburg, PA. The mall opened in 1986 with Horne’s, Kuafmann, JCPenney and Sears as anchors. In 1994 Horne’s closed and rebranded into Lazarus. In 2006 the Lazarus store was rebranded into Macy’s, a few months later the Macy’s moved from the Lazarus space to the former Kuafmann’s space. In 2008 the Horne’s/Lazarus/Macy’s building was demolished for a new Nordstrom store. In 2000 the mall got a renovation with new lighting, Ceiling, entranceways, flooring and a new Children play area by JCPenney. In 2018 Sears closed. In 2019 the JCPenney closed off its upper level. In 2020 it was announced that the Sears space would be redeveloped into retail, restaurants and a entertainment venue. As of 2022 the mall is at 95% occupied. Let’s go inside and take a look.
