And of course, please also subscribe to our YouTube channel here: / relationinnergame ****** One of the most common breakup mistakes that people make when trying to get back together with their ex is using friendship as a backdoor to being in a committed relationship. Don’t get we wrong, your ex is probably going to be emotionally confused, and needing time to figure out how they feel toward you. In that case, being friends with your ex is understandable because it gives them a reason to continue spending time with you. However, if that is what you are doing, you should NOT act like a platonic friend. That’s a topic for another video though. If you are acting like a platonic friend in order to hopefully wriggle into a relationship through the back door, then that is probably not going to give you the results you are looking for. Please understand the difference because it’s one thing that many people get confused on when I teach this. Being a platonic friend is not a desirable thing to do because you are constantly cooling off the romantic tone between you and your ex. Yes, you might say that you are friends with your ex, but there should be a strong romantic undertone. To undermine that by relieving the romantic tension is going to guarantee that things don’t progress or escalate beyond a platonic stage.
