After a string of underwhelming games in the late fall and winter of 1987/88, I moved to a new school where I actually met other kids who had Nintendos. This gave me potential access to some new games, but as is seemingly always the case in my life, nothing is ever as easy as it should be. Nevertheless, I was able to play a couple of great games thanks to the generosity (or pity) of one of my schoolmates. Also, as a point-of-interest that I forgot to mention while recording this video, this was the school where I met the kid who was my primary source of information/tips when I was trying to beat The Legend of Zelda. I'll try to remember to mention that in the next episode.
