You can walk across the Tromso Bridge or take buses (such as 20, 24, 26, or 28) from the town center to visit the Arctic Cathedral (Ishavskatedralen). Its striking lines are visible from almost anywhere in the city. With only a day in town, you’ll have no trouble seeing the local sights by walking. However, if you want to explore the beautiful countryside, you may need to travel by car or bus.
