This is the second video in my JX-Pro series. The goal of the series is to provide more information and hopefully bring more clarity into the details of the 1Zpresso JX-Pro. I'm also posting these as an alternative to my first JX-Pro video which, although was comprehensive, wasn't shot with the most ideal equipment and maybe missed the mark for some viewers. In this video I go over grind retention on the JX-Pro and how to virtually eliminate it. I do have to say that there is very little to begin with, a great credit to 1Zpresso. But you may still want to reduce it, since it takes little effort to do so. Also, you'll be rewarded with more consistent doses every time. If you'd like to learn more about RDT (Ross Droplet Technique), there are plenty of additional videos and articles for reference. I didn't take into account the weight of the water I add to the beans, even if some of the water is likely evaporated during grinding. It's still much less than without using RDT though.
