oorail.com | OO Gauge Model Railway Layout Update - February 2013

This video from oorail.com is a layout update covering the work done in January 2013 and so far in February 2013. Featured in this update is a new station called Chippenham Junction, a fictional location based on a number of real BR Western Region / GWR locations in the Bristol - Bath - Chippenham area. The new station includes a scratch built island platform, new buildings including a Medium Station and Goods Shed in Random Ashlar, signal box from smartmodels.co.uk and scratch built retaining walls using textures from scalescenes.com. All of the buildings and walls featured in this video were printed using a HP LaserJet 3800DTN and assembled using matboard (heavy card) and card stock (medium / light card). The video also discusses future details to be added to the station area as well. Other improvements include completion of the photo-realistic bridges in the adjacent section of the layout which is very loosely based off Sydney Gardens in Bath.
