The passionate poem is an expression of both the pain of separation and the beauty of love in spite of that pain. The renowned poet sets up a trope in garden where he writes about the relationship between a Bulbul, a songbird, and its beloved who is embodied as a flower. To counter the verses that speak to the Bulbul, Syed Gousul Alam Shaon wrote the lyrics of Dol Dol Dol Diyeche that speaks to the flower.
