Who doesn't love guacamole? Great as an appetizer with corn chips, a side with quesadillas or a topping for black bean burgers or tacos. In this video, I show you how to determine if your avocado is fresh and at the perfect ripeness for making guacamole. Avocados freeze very well, and I prefer to mash my avocados with lime juice before I vacuum seal and freeze. When needed, I thaw the avocado mash overnight in the fridge so that making the guacamole is easy. I like to use minced garlic, cilantro, tomatoes and jalapeno in my guacamole, but you can also add minced red onion.
