THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: The Gifts of Healing

There has been much debate about the validity of the spiritual gifts of healing and working of miracles among Christians. Some believe the gifts of healing and some other gifts are no longer operative today, while others believe these powerful miraculous gifts are still available today. Of course, the power to heal is never in the gifted person himself/herself. The power to heal is from God and God alone. Pastor Anthony Does clearly outlines that God still performs miracles. God still heals people. There is nothing preventing God from healing one person through the ministry of another person either. However, the miraculous gifts of healing, as a spiritual gift, functions today as God intervenes in whatever manner He sees fit, whether in “normal” fashion; medically, naturally or through miraculous ways.
