✈ Caribbean Weather "DRAMA" || Unable to Land in Dominica – Diversion to Antigua – Envoy Air - Ep.7

"Events" unfold on this scheduled leg into the Caribbean Island of Dominica. The aircraft was in its descending phase when they were unable to shoot the approach into the Douglas Charles Airport (DOM). The aircraft proceeded to the holding pattern east of the airport, where for approximately 12 minutes, the flight held, hoping that weather conditions would improve to allow a safe landing via Runway 09. Unfortunately, the weather conditions worsened that day. The flight had to divert to its alternate (ANU) Antigua. The aircraft was scheduled to return to DOM later that afternoon, but due to mandatory crew resting, the passengers and crew overnighted in Antigua. The following day, AA3502 departed Antigua at 10:16 AM and arrived safely in Dominica at 10:46 AM. A total flight time of 30 minutes.
