12 Streak Guide for Legendary Gauntlet #11: Registeel, Latios, Tornadus | Pokémon Masters EX

This Gauntlet introduces Registeel. Registeel is a middle of the road stage in terms of difficulty. What you want to do is debuff its Def and/or Sp.Def to control its defensive passives. Registeel also debuffs the party's Def/Sp.Def when it reaches certain health thresholds. Fortunately Registeel is "cheesable" in that you can spam Flinch or Sleep to keep it in check. Sleep specifically stops working on bar 3 (unless you bring Defog), but by that point you should've accumulated enough sync buffs to melt what remains of Registeel's health. This is one of the easier Gauntlet rotations in a while. This guide is aimed towards helping players who started during 4th anniversary to get all the rewards. I'm using event pairs that were available then. However, I'm also using some Legendary Adventures power boosts that weren't available during that time frame. I tested the lineups so you wouldn't require any, but it's one of those "arbitrary restrictions" given DeNA's content cycles. To accommodate for new players I limited my sync grids. I mostly avoided sync pairs who need candies to reach their 3/5 tiles, and I also avoided sync grids where it wasn't necessary. These aren't 1 to 1 conversions because I still benefit from Critical Strike 2 and the 5/5 BP boost. Even if you can't afford to invest into F2P pairs many of them just need to draw from their base kit to be effective. Sorry for the delay on this one. I had some teams theorized but I couldn't commit until Registeel released. For example, I was certain I would toss Giovanni at Latios, but he played much better on Registeel.
