In this short video we try and make Large Multi-Lane Roundabouts as simple as possible. Although the thought of large Multi-Lane Roundabouts seems scary. In a lot of cases they are very well laid out with signs and road marking. So, if you understand what to look for and what they mean. They can become much easier than you first thought. With any junction, don’t be afraid of going the wrong way. You can always turn around and get back on course later. So, if for example you find yourself in a left only lane on the approach to a Large Multi-Lane Roundabout, but you want to go straight ahead but don’t feel like you have time or its not safe to change lanes. Just go left safely and then turn around later when it is safe. Even on a driving test it does not matter if you go the wrong way if what you do is safe. This video was filmed using roundabouts in the area of Winchester Driving Test Centre in Hampshire, Including the Winnall Roundabout, Pitt Roundabout and the known locally as the Marwell Zoo sign roundabout.
