If your new around here where Jess and Jon and we love building tiny homes on wheels to travel the world! The trouble is that every kind of camper vehicle has things about them that make them brilliant and things that are a compromise. So we figured, seeing as we enjoy build them so much, we could build campers for specific amazing adventures. One thing that is on our bucket list it to travel in the 'real winter' to experience a proper snowy Christmas and everything that goes with it. So, we have set out on a mission to build the ultimate winter campervan. A van that can withstand, and keep us warm, in polar temperatures and give us plenty of space to feel cozy and comfy on the long cold winter nights. Enter our Sainsbury's (supermarket for our non-UK friends) delivery van. We figured that being insulated enough to be a refrigerator, it should be able to do the opposite and keep the cold out and keep us toasty and warm inside. It also has lots of other benefits too like being lightweight, and, the holy grail of van builds, being wide enough to set the bed width ways.
