Casio has updated the modules in their solar and solar atomic squares, the G-5600, GW-M5610, GW-S5600 and the legendary GW-5000 solving pretty much any complaint you might have had about the 3159 module, replacing it with the 3495 module and adding a U at the end of the model designation so you can tell the difference. New ones will then be called G-5600U, GW-M5610U, GW-S5600U and GW-5000U respectively. The changes include an LED backlight with up to 3 seconds afterglow Selectable date format MMDD and DDMM and also languase selection for the day function Coutndown timer has dropped to being settable to the second instead of minute and the World time function now comes with an instant time swap between the Home and Local time. Another BIG change is the current time visible in both the stopwatch and countdown timer, something that was a part of the regular battery squares, and something I personally love!
