This brings together 161 tracks recorded between 1979 and 2000, features 47 previously unreleased recordings, and includes her second album ‘Real’, recorded in 1983 but never released, it is presented here complete and sequenced for the first time. Alongside all of Kirsty’s singles, this collection includes album favourites, extended versions, B-Sides and bonus tracks, previously unreleased demo recordings, live sets form the Glastonbury Festival in 1992, and the Jazz Café, London in 1999, plus studio sessions and live performances originally recorded for BBC radio and television. The final disc is a selection of collaborations with other artists, as either singer or songwriter, and further illustrates how in-demand and versatile Kirsty’s extraordinary talents were. The eight discs are packaged in two gatefold sleeves, together with a 60-page hardback full colour book with new sleeve notes from respected author and journalist Jude Rogers, plus rare and previously unseen photos.
