Garlic Chives and Eggs Stir Fry | Chinese Chives Recipe

Here is a homey, authentic Chinese stir fry dish that is great for breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snack. Great with white rice! It's a very flexible dish that takes very little time to make. You can have more eggs or less. Runny eggs or eggs tough as leather. Whatever floats your boat. (I prefer my eggs tender silky smooth). You can cook the chives and eggs separately (as I prefer) or mix them all together at once and cook the chives and eggs at the same time. Here, I show you how I like to make them. Enjoy! Prep time: 1 min Cook time: 3 min Serves: 2-4 people INGREDIENTS 1 bunch ~4 cups Garlic Chives/Chinese Chives 5 eggs 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp white pepper 2 tbsp cooking wine (Shaoxing preferably) OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS 1/2 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp sugar TIPS: Take out the eggs when barely cooked/slightly runny. The residual heat will finish it off. Cook on high heat preferable. It is a very fast dish to make~ No need to cook it more than 5 minutes. #chives #chivesandeggs #garlicchives
