This is a comparison video between an original analogman king of tone and a clone that I built with a PCB from pedalpcb. The main differences (components wise) are : - Signal capacitors on the original are panasonic brown ones (almost impossible to find) - Mine as grey film box capacitors, still very good quality - My clone as a voltage double on the power supply (raise 9 to 18VDC internally) - The original as three types of resistors : carbon comp, carbon film and metal film - There is only metal film resistors in mine - An I'm not analogman ... but this is not a "component" The clipping diodes are the same, and the rest as well. Signal chain : Strat guitar - KOT - KOT clone - THD flexi 50 with a line 6 m5 set on spring reverb in the loop - THD hot plate set on load - line out to two notes torpedo cab - yamaha MG10XU set flat - direct to camera.
