Super Rare 1963 Arctic cat 101d snowmobile restoration.
This video is about a 1963 Arctic cat 101d mechanical restoration. This snowmobile is one of about a hand full of arctic cat model 101 snowmobiles made in 1963. The model 101 means it has a fwd./rev. transmission (rare) however it also has the letter D meaning it is a deluxe model so it has drums brakes a headlight and white grips and seating (extremely rare.) It is pretty safe to say that this is the only model of this parts group that still exists today.The chassis was in such good shape that it would be a shame not to keep its original petina so it was left intact. It is a joy to share this sled with others at snowmobile shows and classic machine events.
