Honanki Tribe Village full video. The Honanki Heritage Site cliff dwelling and rock art site is located near the town of Sedona in north-central Arizona. The Sinagua, ancestors of the Hopi, lived here from about 1100 to 1300 A.D. Honanki, which means “bear house,” is believed to have been one of the largest Sinagua communities in the Verde Valley. They spent their time in the village preparing meals, raising their families, and making tools from stone, leather, and wood. Some of the petroglyphs at the site are 1000 to 2000 years old according to the rangers. Please leave a comment and let me know how I'm doing! Thanks for watching. Subscribe if you want.
