Aside from riding, one of my favorite hobbies lately has been long walks, especially in the morning. For health reasons, but also to explore new places with my feet. Because I'm in Baguio this week and there are many people, I decided to commute to La Trinidad Benguet. La Trinidad, officially the Municipality of La Trinidad, is a first-class municipality and the capital of the Philippine province of Benguet. The "Strawberry Fields of the Philippines" moniker was earned by the municipality due to its abundance of strawberry plantations. La Trinidad was first known as Benguet because of the native term "Benget," which has two possible meanings: the stench of the surrounding swamp area and a native headgear. I began my walk in the Valley of Colors and finished at the San Jose Husband of Mary Parish Church.
