More Mordhau Ranked 1v1 Duels today! Happy Friday, and hope everyone has a safe weekend! Today's Mordhau Ranked 1v1 Duels video features my new Battle Axe build that I debuted in yesterday's full gameplay video at Grad and Feitoria. I've been using the Greatsword in Ranked Duels for a long time, so I figured it's time to mix it up. I feel like the Battle Axe is a great option for Mordhau Ranked duels because, like the Greatsword, you can decrease the reach to speed it up. It also is a heavy hitting weapon. It doesn't matter in a 1v1 duel, but in a mode like Invasion or Frontline, the bladed weapons are always ideal since they allow you to slice through multiple opponents in one attack. When comparing the Battle Axe alt mode to its regular mode, there's a 20cm difference and 75ms windup speed difference. Besides a VERY random 5 damage difference to tier 3 chest armor, there is no damage difference between the two modes. Trade reach for speed, when appropriate, because there's basically no downside.
