2020 Mitsubishi ASX Interior, Exterior and Drive

The new Mitsubishi ASX will go on sale in September, having been given a completely fresh design both inside and out. Currently the third-highest selling vehicle offered by Mitsubishi, the ASX had its reveal at the Geneva Motor Show in March. A compact SUV designed for the city, the crossover features a new front bumper, a fresh grille, a deeper bonnet, redesigned LED headlights and new skid plates for the front and rear. Design-wise, this brings it in line with the rest of Mitsubishi’s range under a design philosophy of “robust & ingenious”. Two trims will be available, with Design coming with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, DAB, Bluetooth connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, rear view camera, heated front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control and keyless operation. Dynamic offers the above as well as panoramic glass roof, leather trim and TomTom navigation, as well as enhanced safety features such as Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Only one engine will be offered, a 2.0L MIVEC 16-valve engine offering 150hp and equipped with two-wheel drive and five-speed manual transmission as standard. Dynamic trim offers manual or six-speed CVT as well as the choice between two or four-wheel-drive. With an increase in torque up to 195Nm, the ASX can hit 62mph from rest in 10.2 seconds.
