I've been an EV owner since December 2022 and am so pleased I decided to skip hybrid altogether and go straight from a fully petrol powered vehicle to a fully electric one. In 2024 I believe that this option is by far the best one for the majority of drivers - even those who always purchase second hand. In this video I explain why I think that and tackle the main arguments against going EV head on. What about range anxiety? Don't the batteries die after a few years and end up in landfill? And what happens to the batteries anyway even if they last longer? And aren't they mined by children for no money? What about the huge cost of the cars in the first place and the non-existent charging infrastructure? Heard all that before? I do too, in what are supposed to be reputable news oulets.
